Adam Marko

Having started playing drums at the age of four, Adam grew up in a musical family and graduated at the Kőbánya Music Studio which is one of the biggest universities of jazz/rock music in Hungary whereby his band Special Providence were formed. Having an approach, by putting music as a priority over virtosistic individualism, allows the band to represent a unique music, a mixture of the modern jazz, progressive-rock-metal, electronic styles in a new light. They are undoubtedly a band highly recommended, with their huge dynamic stage presence and aura for any listener to digest. Special Providence have performed at the London Jazz Festival in 2009, at the Crescendo and ProgSud in 2010 and countless other gigs in Europe and South America. Besides his own band, Adam is one of the best employed session drummers in Hungary able to take on various styles from hip-hop across pop to metal. The musical diversity and individuality in music are the two keystones in his playing and his music.

Intervista a John Macaluso e Marco Lanciotti

John Macaluso has played for Ark, TNT, Yngwie J. Malmsteen among others. Born in Commack, New York, John started playing drums at age 11. Now having recorded on more than 200 records and playing on multiple world tours, John continues to write and record music, perform live, do clinics and teach.John Macaluso ha collaborato con molti artisti tra cui James LaBrie, George Lynch, Ark, TNT, Yngwie J. Malmsteen. Batterista rock ha iniziato a suonare la batteria a undici anni registrando oltre duecento album. John ha studiato con Joe Franco che, in un’intervista, fu definito suo mentore. Tra i suoi insegnanti spiccano i nomi di Rod Morgenstein, Dom Famularo, Tommy Aldridge e Ralph Humprey.

CHRIS COLEMAN – Italian Tour

A 1999 graduate with honors from the Drummer’s Collective, Chris Coleman won the 2001 National Drum Competition sponsored by Guitar Center, which hosted over 30,000 competing musicians. From GC’s high profile launching pad, Chris has become an in-demand sessions artist, having toured extensively with Creflo Dollar Ministries and Israel Houghton, and can be heard on many gospel recordings, including titles from Bishop Eddie Long and William Murphy Ministries, among others. In 2003, Chris became a rhythmical force behind the explosive praise and worship group “Israel and New Breed” and performed on Israel’s Billboard hit CD and DVD releases “Live From Another Level”. Recently, Coleman has reached mainstream audiences with his performances with R&B artist Rachelle Ferrell and is currently touring with Chaka Khan, as well as with his own band “The Paradigm”. In addition to a hefty clinic schedule, Chris has participated in the 2005 and 2006 “Drummers 4 Jesus” events. Chris’ instructional DVD entitled “Dynamic Drumming Vol. 3; Playing with Precision and Power” was recently released through DrumWorks Inc.

Il progetto “Akuna Matata – La Tribù delle Scimmie” nasce nel 2003, e riscuote da subito grande consenso nella sua forma iniziale di esperimento “future-primitive”, una fusione, cioè, tra tribalità acustica e musica elettronica in uno spettacolo musicalmente all’avanguardia con l’accostamento di proiezioni di video originali sincronizzati a basi “tribal”.

Figlio del bassista Vali Mayer, ha speso la sua vita viaggiando attraverso l’Europa e non solo. All’età di due anni ha il primo drum set, e la sua prima esibizione è a Hong Kong quando ha appena 3 anni. Jojo Mayer è un vero e proprio bambino prodigio. Autodidatta all’inizio ha voluto poi approfondire alcune tecniche come la moeller tecnique sia per le mani che per il piede di conseguenza il moto perpetuo con il grande maestro Bruce Becker[senza fonte] (studente per vent’anni di Freddie Gruber Guru statunitense ). Spende la sua adolescenza suonando nei migliori festival jazz di tutta Europa:Montreaux, Nizza, Atene.
