Il modello YES (The Yellow Sound), firmato Mark Drum, il cui primo prototipo è stato presentato per la prima volta al pubblico in occasione della Musikmesse di Francoforte del 2011, è il frutto di un lungo e accurato lavoro di ricerca e sviluppo del team di ingegneri Parsek, coordinati da Marco De Virgiliis e supportati dai suggerimenti dei componenti del team di Mogar, tra i quali Roberto Ragazzo (Marketing Manager) e Marco Guazzoni (General Manager).

Lavorando nel circuito della musica jazz-world, nell’estate del 1998 Paolo viene chiamato a suonare come percussionista in un gruppo di Flamenco.

Dream Theater a Rock in Roma 2011

Sembrava veramente impossibile pensare ai Dream Theater senza Mike Portnoy, ma il concerto d’esordio del suo sostituto avvenuto a Roma il 4 luglio, ha dato un responso ben diverso.

A pochi giorni dall’evento che  tutti i fan dei Dream Theater aspettavamo con trepidazione, ansia e tante aspettative, con molta curiosità ma anche con un leggero timore (la prima data della band con il nuovo batterista, il grande Mike Mangini che è andato a sostituire l’imponente e ingombrante figura del membro fondatore dei Dream Theater Mike Portnoy avvenuta, orma,i a settembre dello scorso anno) ha dimostrato quanto questo grande personaggio abbia preso a cuore il progetto Dream Theater e con quanta umiltà si sia avvicinato a questa band.

Palazzo della Cultura e dei Congressi

Ha avuto inizio l’atteso 3° Summit Nazionale Strumenti ed Edizioni Musicali. Ci troviamo a Bologna presso il Palazzo della Costituzione dove, grazie alla massiccia presenza di tutto il settore, è stato necessario occupare la sala grande per contenere tutti i presenti.

Claudio Formisano, presidente DISMA, ha aperto il Summit ringraziando pubblicamente tutti i partecipanti, le nuove aziende entrate in DISMA, il suo predecessore dott. Monzino con particolare riconoscimento per il dott. Masetti di Casale Bauer per la evidente responsabilità dimostrata nei confronti di questo evento che lo ha portato a tornare dagli USA appositamente per presenziare il Summit.
